Handcrafted King Cake Knives
bringing you Louisiana vibes!!

FAQ

Where did the idea of putting words in the knife come from? I was eating king cake one day (of course!) and thought how cool would it be to have a knife that was specifically used for cutting king cake! I made a prototype, asked a friend what she thought and posted them for sale on my personal facebook page and the rest is Mardi Gras magic! Thank you for being here!

How do you care for the knife? Keep it in the decorative box that comes with it, store it out of the sun and HAND WASH ONLY! DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER!!

Can you personalize? Yes, to a point. Please email Victoria@kingcakeknives.com with your order or idea and I will let you know if it is possible.

What does “stays in box” ®️ mean? During king cake season, many people leave their knife in the box so it is always ready to slice a piece.

Why is the blade so short? This is the size that my supplier has and it is super sharp and works very well. Try it and see!

Is the blade a gold color? No it is a silver color! Some of the pictures make it look gold, the blade is stainless steel silver colored.

What’s the difference between the knives? Two things to look at, the edge of the handle and the color. If it has a pointy-edge, it is a “4”, a flat-edge is a “5”. The glitter colors differ slightly but all are Mardi Gras themed.

Is the phrase in the knife trademarked? Yes! At the local and federal level. I came up with this idea and wanted to protect my intellectual property. Many try to copy, but mine is the OG!

Are you an Eagles fan? Yes! Go Birds…but Saints are my #2 team!
